The Arran Signature Series #3 'Duero Discovery' is an exceptional bottling from the popular Signature range, personally selected and approved by Distillery Manager Stewart Bowman.

This 12-year-old unpeated single malt has a rich, ruby-amber color and derives its distinct character from its unique maturation in red wine casks from the Duero region of northern Spain. After an initial six years of maturation in first- and second-fill bourbon casks, the whisky was transferred to first-fill red wine casks from the Duero region, where it matured for a further six years at Dunnage Warehouse No. 4 on Arran.

The result is a perfectly balanced whisky that is complex and layered.

Tasting notes:
- On the nose: Lively aroma of caramelised fruit and hazelnuts, with a hint of salted caramel and fresh grapefruit zest.
- On the palate: Full and complex with distinct notes of oak, dark berries, and creamy vanilla. Hints of ginger, sweet spices, and anise enrich the palate.
- Finish: Sweet and long with hazelnut, ripe figs and a seductive mouthfeel.
