Braeckman Single Grain Virgin Oak Whiskey is first matured in first fill Bourbon barrels before being finished in new, heavily roasted American virgin oak barrels. This combination of ripening creates a unique flavor profile in which the spiciness of the rye and malt mix is softened by the sweet notes of the oak.

Characteristics:
- In the nose: vanilla, new oak and spicy notes.
- In the mouth: slightly spicy, with influences of pepper, vanilla and cinnamon.
- Aftertaste: slightly sweet finish with hints of caramel.
