This Glenfiddich Fire & Cane is a surprisingly peated whisky, because generally this whiskey house does not make peated whisky.

This smoky whiskey was matured for a long time in American oak barrels, followed by a finish in ex-rum barrels. This combines tasty smoke influences with toffee-like sweets.

Characteristics:
- Nose: soft peat, smoke, toffee, herbs, fruit and a bitter note.
- Mouth: peat, oak, toffee, apple and soft smoke.
- Aftertaste: long, persistent smokiness combined with toffee sweets.
