A sherried whiskey from the Kurayoshi series, made by Matsui Shuzou. This whiskey is a blended malt, made from whiskeys distilled in Scotland and brought to Japan, where they are blended with Japanese whisky. This whiskey was allowed to mature for three years in oak barrels and then completed its process in sherry barrels.

Characteristics:

Aroma: walnuts and chocolate peanuts, with a hint of cranberry.
Taste: Sultana and bread with honey, with a long-lasting touch of ground ginger.
Aftertaste: Crispy brown sugar, stewed pears and blueberries.
