Whiskey Aberfeldy 16 Years 70 cl
16 year old single malt from the fantastic Aberfeldy distillery, unveiled in the second half of 2015 as part of the Last Great Malts series. This expression is finished in Oloroso Sherry casks and gives the whiskey a juicy sweetness.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Raisins and cinnamon at first, before moving on to butterscotch, caramel and apple. A touch of flowers too.
Taste: Well rounded and soft, but not lazy at all. First more apple, soon joined by clementine segments and honey on toast. A hint of ginger.
Finish: waxy peels and oak.
Contents: 70 cl - 40% VOL
