Cachaçais a sugar cane distillate from Brazil and is comparable to white rum.

Around 1530, a few decades after the colonization by Portugal, cachaça was first produced in Brazil produced. Cachaça is enjoyed neat, in a caipirinha cocktail or in a variety of fruit cocktails.
