Port Askaig is a range of Islay single malt whiskeys that embodies the unique spirit of Islay and its people. The character brings together the robust smokiness and soft fruitiness of this enchanting island.

Each expression within the range is bottled in limited batches. To ensure that each whiskey retains its original taste and character, the whiskeys are not chilled filtered and no coloring agents are added.

Port Askaig 8 Year Old has a soft, sweet peaty character that extends into the perfection is balanced. Maturation in refill American oak barrels allows the character of the drink to shine through, providing a soft, smoky taste.

Characteristics:
- Nose: aromas of lemon peels, smoky coals and warm barley malt
- Mouth: notes of limestone, sugar snap peas and dark peat, with sweetness of honeycomb and licorice.
- Finish: notes of sea salt and black pepper, while the smokiness slowly decreases.
