Each year, a small number of old, exceptional barrels are hand-picked to age Connemara for 12 years. It contains some of Connemara's first distillations. Additional maturation in American oak barrels adds a layer of spiciness and wood notes and produces a refined and complex liquid.

Characteristics:
Bright golden color. Vibrant aromas of crème brulee, charred flowers, dense spices and Provencal herbal soap follow a round, supple start to a dry medium-full body with layers of praline, vanilla bean, and exotic peppercorns. The aftertaste is very long, evolving into honey grains and grassy.
