Islay Single Malt Scotch Whiskey
Although this distillery is previously known for its unpeated whiskies, this Moine version shows that they can also produce an excellent peated whisky.
A perfume with shades of smoke and fruit, burnt sugar and refreshing notes. First a soft and fruity aroma in the mouth with a slightly smoky taste in the background. You will also notice malt, herbs, liquorice and sweet treats in the foreground. In the aftertaste you get a more salty and spicy taste.
Bunnahabhain Moine is the outsider of the distillery, but is in no way inferior to the rest of the range!
The distillery< /strong>
There was a time when the sea was the only way to reach the Bunnahabhain distillery located on the most north-eastern tip of the island. Only men like the skipper on our bottles were willing to risk their lives to bring barley for the whisky. There are many stories and expressions to welcome you to Bunnahabhain.
After crossing the rough seas, the hospitable nature of Bunnahabhain is a real delight. Unlike the typical heavily peated, smoke-filled malts of Islay, this dram embodies the more accessible side of the island.
