De Veurn' Ambachtse
De Veurn' Ambachtse – Authentic artisanal pates & meats
De Veurn' Ambachtse is a traditional meat workshop from Alveringem (West Flanders). Since 1980, it has been producing a wide range of pâtés, terrines, rillettes, foie gras, potted meat, and corned beef using traditional methods with regional ingredients — genuine local products with character and flavor.
The story behind De Veurn' Ambachtse
The meat products workshop started in 1980 under Jan and Rita Missiaen and is built on six generations of butchery experience from the Westhoek region.
The workshop focuses on traditional production methods — from step-by-step cooking, sterilization, and flavoring to the preparation of special products such as beer pâtés or foie gras with quality liver from selected suppliers.
In addition to production, De Veurn' Ambachtse also has its own restaurant ('t Potje Paté) and a pate shop ('t Potje Paté Shop) where you can discover and taste the full range.
