    Gingerbread

    We have long known that gingerbread is excellent with breakfast, as a snack or with coffee. That it can also be used surprisingly as a snack or starter is perhaps new. You can turn sweet gingerbread into a savoury snack by combining it with cheese, foie gras or other salty products.

    Tip from Birger: Apple-raisin-flavored gingerbread or honey-veg-flavored gingerbread go excellently with cheese. For those who like it a bit spicier, it is best to choose the gingerbread with ginger or ginger-orange flavor.
