Marins d'eau douce Blanc - 75 cl

At the foot of the Montagne Noir, in an amphitheater overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, lies the Saint Frichoux vineyard. This soil, once a salty sea, now forms the basis for the refined Marins d'eau douce Blanc. As the fifth generation of wine growers, they humbly and proudly bear the nickname of freshwater sailors ("Marins d'eau douce"), both literally and figuratively.

The vines grow on sandstone marl along the valleys of the Resclauze and Ruchol rivers, which flow into the former Marseillette pond. This pond, which dried up in the 19th century, provides a unique and fertile soil for our vineyard.

The Sauvignon grapes are harvested at night to preserve their freshness and pressed immediately. The fermentation takes place at low temperatures, which ensures a delicate and refined wine.

Tasting notes:
- On the nose: A mineral nose that evolves into aromas of passion fruit and grapefruit.
- in the mouth: A fresh start that transitions to flavors of white flesh, lemon granita and grapefruit. The aftertaste is lively with a subtle salty touch.

Food pairing:
Marins d'eau douce Blanc is the ideal accompaniment to all types of shellfish, goat cheese and green asparagus. Serve this wine at a temperature of approximately 11°C to guarantee the optimal taste experience.
